Pleated Blinds

Pleated blinds are blinds where the fabric folds up like an "accordion". The fabric folds itself when you pull it up and that can often be done both top down and bottom up (from bottom to top or top to bottom).

Free hanging honeycomb blinds

A free-hanging honeycomb blind is only attached at the top. You operate the curtain with one or more cords. The honeycomb blind is available in a top down/bottom up variant. The advantage of a top down bottom up oneycomb blind is that you can also cover a part of the window, for example only the bottom or mid window. This curtain is suitable for most window types because it uses clamp brackets. For mounting on aluminum frames, sometimes drilling needs to be done. If you have a turn-tilt window, it is better to use a tensioned pleated curtain.

Tensioned pleated blinds

A tensioned pleated curtain runs over two cords that are thightly fastened at the top and bottom. A tensioned pleated blind sits more firmly in the frame and thighter on the window. There is no need to drill as the feet can be mounted on clamping brackets. You operate the curtain with handles on the profiles on the curtain. This type of curtain is therefore very suitable for (PVC) turn-tilt windows. If you opt for the top down bottom up variant, you can also cover part of the window, for example only the bottom. All our curtains are of the highest quality, which is why we give a standard 3-year warranty.

FAQ

Top down/bottom up blinds offer more natural sunlight than standard topdown blinds. This is because top down/bottom up means the blinds can be fully raised from the bottom or lowered from the top. You can show so much more of the window if you want to.

We give a 3-year warranty on all our pleated curtains. If you would like to know more about our warranty conditions, please visit our warranty page or contact us.

Yes, that's possible. Pleated blinds can be installed with clamping brackets and no drilling is here required. There are exceptions, with some types of frames, such as aluminum frames, it is sometimes necessary to drill. If you need more advice, please contact us. We are happy to help you.
